.There is nothing better then family and friends.

I know that I have not written in a while and I apologize. Life has had no slow moments. When ever I am glad that I don't have a lot going, the next thing I know life gets way to busy.

In the last month I have had four different doctors appointments. Each one very different. I have to say that I am so impressed with the nurses that work at the hospital. I have never been a fan of hospitals, however the way the nurses were to me has restored my faith. There is defiantly a reason why some people are nurses. My last doctors appointment with my doctor was very eye opening. I was told that I have to much fat around my liver and that I need to loose 15 pounds by February. I think that this can be done I just have to change my eating habits and do a lot more exercise. The good thing is that nobody will recognize me when I loose 15 pounds!

On Thursday I had the fortunate pleasure of getting my wisdom teeth out. This is one of the most painful things I have ever done. It has been four days now and I am still in a lot of pain. If any one ever asks me if they should get them out I say to them don't do it. The thing that I have learned from this is do not be afraid to ask for help. I would like to thank all of those people who have helped me in more ways then one.

With all of these things that have gone on in my life recently I am so grateful for family and friends, I don't know what I would do with out them. Remember that if anyone needs anything I will be there for you!

Talk you soon!

The best holiday Ever!!!

I was very grateful to have a long weekend this weekend. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday out of all of them. It's the one holiday which has the best food and the one holiday that makes the most sense to celebrate. You also get to spend time with your family. When I found out that I would have to work most of the weekend and would not be able to go home I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I thought of making my own turkey dinner on Sunday but just make a really small one. When I woke up Sunday morning and couldn't move with out being in pain that plan flew out the window. I was however able to get in a lot of rest that day. I decided I would make a turkey dinner maybe this weekend coming up, but we will see. I say there is always next year as well.

On Sunday I ventured out to one on my nephews birthday parties. I have never been a fan of birthday parties. To much show and not enough fun. This however went very well with wonderful food, and games that all ages could play.

For those of you who are in to new t.v shows as i am, I suggest you try watching Dragons Den. I found it very interesting the things that people come up with for inventions and how some of them think they can make money off of them in today's world. I watched for the first time last night and I found it very intriguing!

Today was nothing out of the ordinary. I did however go and vote. I wasn't quite sure who I was going to vote for, but with a lot of discussion with my co-workers they helped me decide who I thought would be a good choice. The sad thing is that I am more interested in the American election then the Canadian one. However I still support Canada.

I hope everyone is enjoying your Tuesday!

Weddings are just wonderful!

My weekend started off with my roommates weeding. We traveled to the wonderful town of Cardston Alberta. I did as much as I could to help and then took my post at the guestbook table. Now I told my roommate that I would do anything to help and I didn't mind a bit, if anything it made the night go by a lot faster. Now I have been to my fair shares of weddings and I have never really liked them but I think a calling reception might be the way to go. The people came in grabbed some food and then left. All we had to do was clean up after. There wasn't a whole lot to worry about. I also got to have the great privilege of meeting to wonderful ladies. I only hope I have there energy when I am there age. I am very happy for my roommate to take the next step in her life.

The rest of the weekend I watched conference. It was all really good but I must say my favorite prophet Joesph B Wirthlin was the best speaker hands down. Now I am not saying this is a competition but if not for his charm his message was great to. I was also able to get in a much needed walk.

Today was my first day back to work after my two week holiday. I was not very excited at first buy quickly got back into my routine that I had before. It was good for a break and I recommend it to everyone.

Take care Mary

Holidays are never long enough!

My holidays are almost over and I can't believe it. Two weeks was just not long enough! I don't have any spectacular stories to tell from my holidays but I had fun none the less.

The trip to grand prairie seemed way longer then I remember it. I had a hard time sitting in a car for that long, but once we got there it was all worth it. While in Grand prairie I was able to spend a lot of time holding my new nephew, and help my dad put a wall together for the very first time. Some how I managed to get lost 3 times while driving with various people. Grand Prairie is not that big so I am not sure exactly how this happened. I was also able to eat the best meals I have had in a long time. Of course I did some shopping but as I am not to fond of the whole shopping thing I only bought one thing. So in a nut shell this was my Grand prairie adventure.

While I have been on holidays I have been able to catch up with a lot of friends. I was able to go to cold Lake for a day. My old stomping grounds. I almost didn't recognize the place because I had not been there in 4 or 5 years. My friends told me that I look the same as the last time they had seen me. I am not sure this is a good thing or a bad thing. While back in Lethbridge I have also been able to get together with a lot of friends I had not seen in a while, who thought I had left the planet. It felt good to get caught up with all the major events that had happened in there lives.

Yesterday my roommate moved all of her stuff out of our house. She has decided to enter into her new life of marriage. She was having a hard time saying goodbye, but I assured her that we will still get together. I will never forget the kind of friend she was to me.

This holiday was a great one and you better believe that I will be taking more of them!
