It's Finally here!

This week felt like it was never going to end. There were so many things going on at work and in my life. I kept hoping that Friday would come but it took for ever. I am sorry I sound a little angry and I really am not. I just couldn't wait for the weekend because I am going on a holiday for the first time in 4 years. Yes you heard it right. A real holiday for two whole weeks. I am not working either one of my jobs. I am not going anywhere spectacular but the city of Grand Prairie. I am just excited to have time to relax and get caught up with my sleep.

The other exciting news is that my sister in law just had her first baby boy. Benson is his name. I now am the proud aunt of five nephews. I think the Easthope men are just suppose to have boys I guess. I am going to go visit my new nephew on my holidays. Nothing better then seeing a new baby. When they are newborns they are so easy to look after. Its when the get older that they start being a little harder to manage. Shh don't tell anyone that I said that they might think that I don't want any kids.

On Thursday night I threw a bridal shower for my roommate that is getting married. Now I have done many bridal showers before, but this was one of the easiest ones I have ever had to do. Tara didn't want one and when her mom asked me if I would do one I gladly excepted. I had to keep it a secret from her for a couple of weeks and I can't believe that I pulled it off. She had no clue. If she had found out she would have not wanted to go through with it. I kept it very simple with a few family members and friends. I only played one game that was very easy that everyone would like and had food and presents of course. Oh ya and decorations of course. Everyone had a good time and it went very smoothly. My roommate surprised her self because she has said to me several times now how grateful she was for what I had done and how much fun she had. Now I am not trying to brag really but I am so grateful to all the people that helped me pull off this wonderful event.

I know that some of you that will read this are not a fan of this show, but I have to say something about it. I have been watching the show One Tree Hill. It just keeps getting better and better. Somehow they manage to let someone be happy for a few minutes and then they have something bad happen to them which they spend the rest of the episode working out and then end the episode happy again. It's not just that its the peoples lives that are portrayed so well and how the affect you in so many ways. I know I sound a little crazy but I think that everyone should watch this show.

I am getting use to there being three of us living in our basement suit, however when I come back one of them will be moving out. She has been a great support and friend in my life and wish her all the love and happiness.

Well I think I have talked way to long. I will tell you all about my holidays when I get back.

Holding on for Dear Life

well we are almost half way into September and I am secretly waiting for summer to start over again. I know I am in love with that season. There is just nothing better then a hot summer day. I know I should just deal with the change of the season but I am going to hold on to the summer as long as I can.

This weekend I had the great privilege of attending my oldest Nephew's baptism. What a wonderful experience to see someone take on a whole new set of responsibilities. Embarrassing story of that day, my sister-in-Law asked me to sing a song for the baptism. I gladly excepted. When I was about to start I forgot the words and had to start all over again. What an embarrassing thing do do in front of a crowd of people. The baptism was in the morning and so I had the rest of the Saturday to hang out with my family. We were able to have a really good time doing various things and having really good conversations. Are family dose not get together very often so it was a good time had by all.

My crazy life is still happening every day. I am still working like way to much, but enjoying the amount I am learning every day from mt two jobs.

I hope you all are living life to the fullest!

Love Mary

There is nothing good about the weekend being over!

Well its Monday again and I can't wait for the weekend. The weekends are just never long enough and before you know it you have to go back to work.

This weekend I made a spur of the moment decision and went home to visit my parents. I had the weekend off and the fact that it was a long weekend was a great opportunity to to go home. So Friday after work I drove up to good old Elk Point. I hadn't been there since Christmas and it didn't shock me much to see that the town was pretty much the same as the last time I was there.

Saturday my parents and I went to the St. Paul rodeo. This is a town 30 min from Elk Point. It was just an amateur rodeo, but it was very well done. It lasted for three hours. Which is a long time but I really enjoyed it.

It is just crazy lately how addicted I am to the show big brother. On Sunday I couldn't keep my eyes away from the screen as I was cheering for who I wanted to win the head of house hold competition. It is not a very good show but I can't stop watching it. The people all hate each other and are constantly stabbing each other behind there backs. What attracts someone to this kind of show I don't know.

Today I came home and my second room ate moved in. It will be a little crazy for a while until my other roommate gets married next month.

Well that's all from my crazy life!
